Report on UES Contact Light Salvage Operation

Research Expedition Day 12

Crew observed unknown entity of humanoid build. 
Entity discovered to be capable of flight and has been observed with rod-like objects floating around it. 
Entity observed using these objects in a manner similar to a conventional firearm. 
Entity appears to conjure a limitless supply of these firearm-like objects. 
Entity designated as "Yellow" until further observation and research.


Expedition Day 15

Crew encountered Yellow again. 
Yellow was seen attacking the "Wisp" and "Lemurian" creatures that researchers have been cataloguing. 
Yellow seems to attract these creatures and increased aggression from them in the its presence has been noted. 
Yellow was observed being able to create massive explosions from its firearm-like objects.
Researchers recovered an example of the object. 
It resembles an ancient Musket-type firearm wrapped in a long yellow strip of cloth, and appears entirely mundane.


Expedition Day 27

Yellow sighting confirmed in the presence of a massive "Magma Worm" creature, appearing to be engaged in combat with Yellow. 
Yellow was recorded expending 187 of its firearm-like objects to attack the creature. 
Supply of these objects is observed to not be limitless, as previously hypothesized. 
Creature was observed opening its jaw appendages and biting Yellow, severing the head. 
Aside from damage from the decapitation and fall, Yellow's body was observed to be otherwise intact. 
Deploying crew to recover the corpse for further research.
